In accordance with the provisions of the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data (Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares) (hereinafter "Personal Data Law"), its Regulations, and with a view of ensuring privacy and the right of decision of the website users www.bstl.mx (hereinafter the “website”), of our clients and/or persons who have decided to share their personal information with us, we advise the following:

Gathered personal data
BSTL may gather the following personal data: (i) name, (ii) contact address, (iii) company and position held, (iv) phone number or cellphone and (v) email.
In case of job candidates, BSTL may additionally gather: (i) sex; (ii) date of birth; (iii) education level; (iv) languages and their corresponding level; (v) curricular data, professional experience, areas of practice; (vi) main reasons to apply for a job in BSTL; and (vii) curriculum vitae.
Ways of obtaining your personal data
BSTL may obtain your personal data through Web such as the Website or electronic communications that you maintain with this law firm, likewise, through your correspondence, presentation cards, telephone calls and filling out forms or job applications that we have received.
BSTL does not automatically obtain personal data through cookies or web beacons.
Purposes of processing personal data
The personal data held by BSTL, will be administrated and treated within the general overall management of the office, with the aim of carrying out the provisions of legal services, and will have the following main purposes: (i) to establish contact with the people who have requested it; (ii) to respond requests for information or legal services; (iii) to answer candidates about their job applications; (iv) processing and follow up the legal services that have been hired with BSTL; (v) to keep the legal relationship between BSTL and you updated; (vi) to conduct billing tasks, clarifications and monitoring payment operations; (vii) to send notifications regarding changes made to this Privacy Notice.
In addition, BSTL may treat your personal data for the following secondary purposes: (i) to send legal information, legal news, and legal magazines, or topics that BSTL consider as interesting to you, just as news, communications or promotion of BSTL; (ii) sharing invitations to conferences, seminars and cultural or social events organized or in which BSTL participates; and/or (iii) to send communications and invitations to participate in BSTL’ projects or projects that, in BSTL’ opinion, you might be interested.

The personal data gathered, shall be included in a database that will remain in place for as long as BSTL may deem necessary to accomplish the purposes for which they were gathered, once concluded, your personal data will be blocked and cancelled, in order to suppress them in accordance with the Personal Data Law.
The personal data gathered by BSTL, will not be transferred to third persons, unless the Personal Data Law, its Regulations or otherwise, allows it.
Safety Measures
BSTL will adopt each and every administrative, physical and technical safety measures to safeguard your personal information that you have voluntarily provided to us, of any damage, loss, alteration, destruction or the use, or unauthorized access, thus, in the event that a third party needs to know such information, BSTL will require those third parties to meet this Privacy Notice, and to take administrative, physical and technical security measures established in the Personal Data Law.
Despite the completion of the relationship with the holder of personal data, BSTL is committed to maintain the confidentiality of such information.
Means to exercise the rights of access, rectification, cancellation or opposition to the treatment of your personal data
You have the right to access the personal data we possess of you and to know the details of the treatment we give to them, as well as to rectify them in case they are imprecise, request for their cancellation when they are deemed excessive or unnecessary for the purposes that justify their obtainment or to oppose the treatment of such personal data for specific purposes.

Any application in connection with the exercise of your rights, must contain the following: i) your name and domicile for response; ii) copy of your voter’s registration card, passport, driver’s license, professional license or any other document that certifies your identity or your legal representative’s, in case the request is made by legal representative, attach the document which certifies his/her authority as representative; iii) a precise and clear description of the personal data on which the rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition want to be exercised of, regarding the treatment of such personal data; iv) any other element or document that make easier the localization of such personal data; and v) any other requirement establish in the Data Protection Law, it’s regulation and other applicable provisions.
BSTL shall respond to any complete request in a maximum term of 20 calendar days or the maximum permitted by the Personal Data Law. BSTL’s response will indicate if the request for access, rectification, cancellation and opposition is allowed and, in such case, BSTL shall make effective the determination within the following 15 calendar days from the date the response is delivered or the maximum permitted by the Personal Data Law. The terms may be extended, according to the applicable law.
If you require additional information for the exercise of your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition to the treatment of your personal data, you can contact our Privacy Department in the telephone number +52(55) 50910000. Likewise, in case you require it, BSTL shall provide you by electronic means, a list of your personal data.
How can you limit the use or disclosure of your personal data?
You are entitled to limit the use or disclosure of your personal data for purposes that are not necessary for our legal relationship, therefore, if you no longer wish to receive information, articles and/or news from BSTL, please send us an email to datospersonales@bstl.mx or contact our Privacy Department located in Paseo de los Tamarindos 150 PB, Bosques de las Lomas, Cuajimalpa, Zip Code: 05120, Federal District, Mexico, indicating the situation in order for us to include you in an exclusion list, of which upon request, we may send to you electronic or physical evidence.

Transfer of personal data
Personal data gathered by BSTL will not be assigned, sold, shared or transferred, only when means necessary according to the Personal Data Law or its Regulations. Notwithstanding, BSTL reserves the right to share personal information with employees and partners of the firm, and third parties that treat your personal data on behalf of BSTL and be subject to this Privacy Notice and the instructions of BSTL, including companies in the legal services business in Mexico or in foreign countries that work jointly with BSTL, notaries, commercial notaries or information technology companies that render its services to BSTL. Please note that all those third parties that treat your personal data, shall do so on behalf of BSTL and shall, at all times, be subject to the terms stated herein.
Websites that do not correspond to BSTL
Our website may contain links to websites that do not correspond to BSTL, and, for such reason, they do not have any connection with us. We recommend review and read the privacy policies and the terms of use of external websites before its use.
Amendments to the privacy notice
The use of our website implies recognition and acceptance of this Privacy Notice, which shall contain at the end the date of the most recent modification. In any case, we suggest you to review this privacy notice each time you use our website, in order to know the changes, modifications or updates that it would have suffered.
Before who can you file your complaints regarding the misuse of your personal data?
If you consider that your right of protection of personal data has been violated by any of our employees, our actions or responses, assume that in the treatment of your personal data. If you presume the existence of an infringement of the provisions stated in the Personal Data Law, you are entitled to submit a corresponding complaint or report before the Federal Institute of Information Access and Personal Data Protection, for additional information please visit www.ifai.org.mx
This Privacy Notice its governed by the Personal Data Law, its Regulations and other applicable provisions in the United Mexican States and its acceptance implies your express submission to the courts of Mexico City, Federal District for any dispute or claim arising thereof.
