Mr. Etchegaray received his law degree (JD) from Universidad Panamericana, México, D.F. in 2008.



During his JD he studied one year abroad at the Law School of the Würzburg Universität in Germany, in 2005.

Principal areas of practice

Corporate, Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Finance and International Arbitration.

Professional Background

Mr. Etchegaray began his professional career as an associate attorney at the firm Von Wobeser y Sierra, S.C. where he worked for five years .



Civil Legal Clerkship State Court of Schwerin, Germany, 2006. He made as well a trainee seat in the Schwerin, Germany office of Streit & Deutscher.



He joined Barrera, Siqueiros y Torres Landa, S.C. in 2011.

Published Works

He published the dissertation titled “The advantages of single-shareholder entities over foreign-affiliated bank holding companies in Mexico”.
