Education

Mr. Núñez completed his law degree at Universidad de Monterrey (2000-2004) and Master’s degrees in Tax Law at Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (2005-2006) and Commercial Law at Universidad de Monterrey (2008-2010). He is currently studying masters degrees in Company Law and International Trade Law at Universidad de Monterrey and Universidad Panthéon-Assás, París II (Double Graduate Project).



He has also completed various postgraduate diplomas and seminars, including the seminar “Curso de Reforma Fiscal 2007” at Pricewaterhouse Coopers (2007); “Seminario en Comercio Exterior” at Bufete Internacional Consultores y Abogados (2007); “Seminario en Propiedad Intelectual” at the Instituto Mexicano de la Propiedad Industrial (2006); “Diplomado en Propiedad Intelectual” at the Facultad Libre de Derecho (2006); “Diplomado en Finanzas Corporativas” at the Facultad Libre de Derecho (2006); and a specialization course “Derecho Europeo y Arbitraje Internacional” at Universidad Carlos III in Madrid, Spain (2003).

Professional Background

Mr. Núñez began his professional career in 2001 as an intern at the Fourth Civil Court and then interned in Commercial Litigation at Núñez, Leal y Abogados, S.C. In 2003, he joined the law firm Thompson & Knight, S. de R.L. de C.V., and in 2008 began with Quintanilla Asociados, S.C.

Graduated with honors by the” Universidad de Monterrey” on 2004 and 2010.

Relevant Cases

Mr. Nuñez has assist and participate in several relevant cases, among others, in the following:



(i) Acquisition of an aluminum transnational corporation for a purchase price of more than $1’000,000,000.00 (One thousand million of Mxc)

(ii) Divestiture of a national automobile dealership.

(iii) Acquisition of car dealerships of several brands, among others, Honda, Toyota, Nissan and Chysler.

(iv) Restructuration of several Loan Agreements of an important construction company for an amount over than $800’000,000.00 (Eight hundred Million pesos Mxc).

(v) Real estate purchase operation for an amount of US$55’000,000.00 (Fifity five million dollars USC).

(vi) Participate in the preparation of the bylaws of a condominium system of a 5-diamond luxury resort in Los Cabos Baja California Sur.

(vii) Attorney in charge to negotiate and review corporate matters regarding the Mexican operation of a transnational company in charge of secure documents and data.
