Education

Mr. Tornel obtained his Law degree (2003-2008) at Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México.



He then studied his Masters Degree in International Business Law also at Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México.

Principal areas of practice

Civil, Commercial, Corporate, Real-Estate, Private International Law, and Energy Law, as well as Project Finance.

Professional Background

He began his professional trajectory at the law firm Cuevas y Villarreal, S.C. fromJanuary 2005 through January 2006. On 2006, he entered Compañía Hulera Tornel, S.A. de C.V., where he worked until March 2008, date after which he entered the law firm, López Rangel y Gutiérrez Mendoza, S.C. where he worked until January 2009. Afterwards, he joins the firm Tellaeche & Arragnoiz, S.C., where he worked from February 2009 through February 2010.



On February 2010, Mr. Tornel joined Barrera, Siqueiros y Torres Landa, S.C., to the firm’s corporate law area.
